(Medical Procedure & Technology) Digital infrared thermal imaging is a non-invasive and non-radiation clinical imaging procedure that detects and monitors significant health concerns and injuries. Images of thermal abnormalities are captured, shown on a computer monitor and sent to certified doctors to be interpreted. Patient receives their report and a color printout of their scan. Breast thermography, useful in screening, may detect the earliest possible signs of developing breast pathology.
